A pacific northwest native,
Adam is an active composer, playwright, and musical director in the Greater Seattle arts community. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music from Cornish College of the Arts specializing in Composition, Playwriting, & Directing through the Original Works program, he began regularly mentoring students at Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE in Issaquah, WA, Olympic View Elementary in North Seattle, and more recently with the Hi-Liners Musical Theatre group in Burien, WA. Adam has also had the opportunity to work on a number of productions in collaboration with independent theater companies and artists near and far, continuing to enjoy the chance to breathe life into new and original works.
As a student at Cornish College, Adam had the chance to compose and create for original and existing work. He wrote original scores for both Shakespeare's Pericles and Margaret Atwood's Penelopiad, music directed Thornton Wilder's Our Town and Stephen Schwartz's Godspell, and wrote/produced two original musicals, Se*! The Musical and Terminal: A New Musical.
Currently, Adam is gearing up to music direct the Hi-Liner's production of RENT, School Edition, set to premiere in July 2015. Additionally, he is in the process of writing his new Disney-inspired musical, Starlight, with his wonderful co-writer, Kat Miller, set for first-readings late Summer/early Fall 2015.
